About the Brand
JADed wear is a collection of Beautiful & functional "Fit Fashion" for women and children that wear well & last! Each and every product is designed & tested by Jessica & her 9 year old daughter Arianna! From the design, function & fit, to the fabric and thread quality, contents & durability, Jessica tests it all! Right down to how well & how easily each garment can be washed! Quality matters and we pride ourselves in delivering quality products to your door!
JADed wear is 100% Designed, Created & Produced in USA as it is extremely important to us to keep it personal. We believe garment construction is an art form that has been devalued for far too long & the people behind the machines bringing our visions & dreams to life, deserve PRAISE!!! And of course, fair pay & ethical work conditions!!! Anyone who has ever altered or cut & sewn a garment, threaded a machine, detangled a bobbin, replaced broken needles, found the perfect tension… understands everything we just said… KNOWS how much ACTUALLY goes into creating the clothes we put on our backs… and knows the true value!
About the Creator/Designer
JADed wear has been an idea of Jessica Hanley's since she was a young girl, naming her brand when she was just in middle school (JADed stands for "Jessica Anne DiPietro exclusive designs") Now, the JADed acronym has taken on an additional meaning as life has evolved and Jessica has a family of her own, it also represents "Jessica Arianna David e Devin" her Husband & Children!
It has always been her dream to see people wearing her creations, whether it be in person, or in this era, on social media posts! So from the bottom of her heart, she thanks YOU for your support in helping her realize her lifelong dream!!! xoxo
FASHION BACKGROUND:
Jess studied Fashion at The Savannah College of Art and Design where she graduated with Honors majoring in Fashion Design & minoring in Accessory Design. Active wear & active wear fabrics have always been her focus, her senior collection at SCAD was a collection of form fitting cocktail dresses, twisted and braided on the body with Italian Lyrca and received much praise & accolades from top industry professionals! Since graduating, Jess worked for local designers where she was featured on TLC's "My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding" as well as TLC's limited series "Bling It On" as a "blingette" where she helped design & create elaborate garments ranging from baby clothes to wedding gowns & accessories. Jess also ran and continues to run her ETSY shop JessDiPietro Designs where you can purchase custom garments & rhinestone accessories for all ages! She has created gorgeous apparel ranging from Christening gowns to Wedding gowns & everything in between! ACTIVE BACKGROUND:
Jess grew up as a competitive dancer, cheerleader & gymnast. At age 17 she began teaching dance and continued to both perform & teach throughout college & up until the birth of her 2nd child, a son, Devin.
Now, she still spends most days either in the dance studio or in the gym with her daughter Arianna who has followed in her mother's footsteps and demonstrates a talent and passion for both dance & gymnastics! Arianna is currently a USAG Level 5 gymnast and holds the Massachusetts State titles for Balance Beam & Floor Exercise for Level 1 in the CHILD age division! An activewear clothing line was the natural career path for Jess, combining both of her passions, the art of Fashion & the art of Dance. All while promoting a healthy lifestyle!
